Remote Video Monitoring and Response Service

Businesses are at risk when left unattended at night, over weekends and public holidays.

Rising business crime rates can be effectively countered by increasingly sophisticated security solutions.

Often an intruder will leave a site protected with remotely monitored CCTV as soon as they are confronted with an audible warning.

Staff safety out-of-hours is becoming increasingly important to all businesses and a Chubb remotely monitored CCTV system can provide complete peace of mind.

Chubb provides reliable 24/7 independent remote site protection.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) on its own simply views and records crime. When combined with a professionally delivered remote monitoring service, the effectiveness of the CCTV system is raised to a new level by providing all the benefits of a manned on-site presence at a fraction of the cost. Introducing Chubb 'Remote Video Response' (RVR).

Core services include:

What is Chubb 'Remote Video Response'?

It is a CCTV system designed and installed to be remotely monitored by the state-of-the-art Chubb Remote Video Response Centre. In the event of an intrusion at the customer’s site, our dedicated operators will be able to view live images from site whilst simultaneously transmiting audio messages to deter intruders where possible. Where appropriate, they will contact the relevant emergency services and keyholders.

What is required to have a remote video response (RVR) solution at my premises?

A remote video response (RVR) solution is dependent on 4 key elements:

  • CCTV system at the protected premises
  • Audio and video transmission equipment
  • Telephone line or internet technology
  • State-of-the-art Chubb Remote Video Response Centre

Why do I need Chubb Remote Video Response?

  • To provide total security, a CCTV system should deter and detect crime, and generate an effective response.
  • Not only is Chubb Remote Video Response an effective crime deterent, but if anything should happen images are recorded, events are monitored and a response can be generated.
  • Changes to the ACPO(S) (Association of Chief Police Officers (Scotland)) policies now means that CCTV systems which do not meet current British Standards, such as BS8418, may only receive limited Police response.
  • High profile focus on staff safety issues in the workplace means that security is increasingly in the spotlight.
  • Recent minimum wage legislation has increased the cost of traditional security measures such as manned guarding.
  • On top of this, business crime rates and insurance premiums are escalating.
