Integrated Security Management

For a hospital in North East London the constant concern over patient, employee and visitor safety, as well as the risk of crimes ranging from vandalism and theft to drug taking and sabotage prompted them to approach Chubb. An integrated security solution incorporating intruder alarms and panic alarms in the wards, and CCTV cameras in the Accident and Emergency Department have helped them to take control of these risks and almost eliminate them.

Integrated Security Management

In an effort to update their existing facilities and migrate towards new hospital buildings and services in a phased programme, a Belfast hospital involved Chubb in developing their plans. Their aim was to adapt and improve security systems in existing premises in the short term, with a longer term aim of migrating the systems in an adaptive approach to provide the ultimate integrated security system. This would create a consistent set of operating and administrative procedures and a common set of components to cover muliple sites.

The solution incorporated work on their CCTV installation as well as intruder, access control, baby tagging and door entry systems.
